hello,
on dec. 29 2008, i took my gp100 to the dealer i purchased it from to have it sent off to be repaired by Sturm Ruger. anyway, my dealer called me about 2 weeks ago to let me know that Ruger had informed him that my revolver was fixed and being sent back by U.S. Mail.
2 weeks later and still no gp 100. i am beginning to be concerned that my gun has either been misplaced, or stolen while in the mail. 2 weeks seems excessive to me. my question is this, is this normal for US mail packages to run this long? maybe this is normal, but i have always used fed ex or ups for sending or receiving parcels (never any firearms) and they always arrive much more quickly than this.
thanks in advance for the replies.
