I tried to log on yesterday but could not.

Now it says, "Account has been suspended."

Some cupcakes own the hosting service and got "woke?"

They didn't pay their bill?

Anybody know what's going on over there?

Can't help you but got the same thing. I know it takes a lot to run a website, but I have been trying to join since 2013, no luck.

They've been on an outdated server for years. In desperate need of a migration to something newer, with newer software. It's been run by tyrants ever since Carl died.

They definitely eked out the last drop of usefulness from their software program.

Interesting, I visited a few minutes earlier. New format and actually allowed me to register after eight years, seems like a good sign.

I cannot get in again last several days. BTW, I don't like new format. The one some years ago was IMO much better graphically.

All I get is blank white page.

Me too. One shouldn't have to work this hard to access a forum. For a company this size they should be embarrassed. Putting up an intuitive forum is a no-brainer with the software options available today.

Sad commentary.

Ruger doesn't run the forum. Do any of the big manufacturers have their own forums? I can't think of any. Generally corporations prefer to run their social media through the usual suspects (TWTR, FB, etc) rather than operating their own.

Funny how crazy people get when a forum goes down. I seen other forums go down as well as Facebook and I think it was Tic Tok, YouTube or some other popular social media platform that went down too recently and in the past. In all cases, it seemed like the sky way falling for some.

If I was Thanos and could just snap my finger and make things disappear, it would be the interent for at least a good year.

One of our THR rules is that all posts must be firearms related. I don't mind an occasional thread to discuss whether another firearms-related website is up or down, but the topic itself (the other forum) is only very loosely related to firearms. Accordingly, I think this one has run its course.
