Ruger Hawkeye 6.5x55 info

Over the summer I bought a Ruger Hawkeye in 6.5x55 Swede. I haven't been able to find much info on this particular gun. Apparently it was made as a distributor special by request. Do any of you have more information on this rifle, such as rifling twist ratio? Also, if you have one, is there a particular ammo, bullet, or bullet weight that has performed well in yours?

Not sure about that rifle, but I figure you could do the cleaning rod trick and find out. Mark the rod and take it down the bore with a patch. Measure how far down the barrel you get before the rod makes a complete turn. IE if it takes 8 inches, then you have a 1 in 8 twist.

Good caliber though for sure; I am sure it will shoot well. I shot a 260 rem a good bit and it liked 140 and 142 smks fwiw.
