I've been pocket-carrying about 75% of the time over the last year. Most recently, I went from a Kahr PM9 to a Walther PPS. The PM9 was just no fun to practice with, whereas the slightly larger Walther feels like a real gun and I can shoot it all day.
Needless to say, these things are cyclical ... That slightly larger PPS pocket-carries fine in some pants but is pretty snug in others, so I started thinking small again. I don't want to sell the PPS like I sold the Kahr--the PPS is probably the best carry gun ever made--so the PPS has been getting IWB duty and now there's a Ruger LCP in my front pocket.
I finally understand what people mean when they say "you'll forget it's even there." WOW this thing is small. The trigger is surprisingly smooth, and the whole thing feels pretty good in the hand when the finger extension is on the magazine.
I didn't realize it's not a true DAO gun--you can't pull the trigger again for a second hammer strike--but I guess that's how they made the trigger as good as it is.
So now I've gone full circle and there's a (very) small gun in my pocket.
