Well I finally found a new Ruger LCR 327
Lucked up and found a new one at a LGS !
I bought it ..
I ran a few 32 Longs through it and a couple of cylinders CCI 100gr Gold dot 327 .. big difference in recoil ... and noise
The LCR327 Has the typical LCR centerfire trigger pull ... I installed a compact grip

I can’t say that I would want to try the smaller grip with .327s. My steel frame 327 bites as hard as it barks, and the LCR is a lot lighter. That’s got to be a handful.

The 85 grain hydra shoks are comfortable to shoot from the LCR. I have had no desire to try anything more!

Same grip on my LCR 357 ... The stock grip is great at the range .. but .. to me .. fatter = harder to conceal

If you reload you should find some 100 grain lead bullets, they're cheap to shoot and you can load them down.

Same with the 71 grain Berry's bullets. I load them over a max charge of Trail Boss and they've got enough oompf you know you've hit your target, but not so much recoil that it's not fun to shoot.

I never got great accuracy out of those lighter Berry's plated bullets. I tried them in 32 H&R and 327FM. Never bothered with the 32 S&WL which seems like it may be a better fit for.

MBC 100 grain cowboy #6 and their 120 grain 32-20 bullet does everything I want. Maybe I should give the Berry's another try with a lighter charge in the H&R.

I'd like to try one of these 327 LCRs out, never actually seen one in the wild.

I made it through 12 American Eagle 100 grainers before I decided I’d had enough.

I now run “hot” .32 mag charges loaded in a .327 Starline case. Much easier on the hand and can actually hit what I’m aiming at.

100gr AE 327 is the max .. seems like the 327
shelf ammo come in 3 flavors ..
Yep .. Oh Yep ...and WTH Yep .. I sure in the SP101 ..they all are manageable
Im going to pick up some AE 100gr SP for some range fun and for practice..
Federal produces 100gr GD 327 ..which has had great Gel tests ...

no one in my house like the .327 loads from this gun. I can tolerate them for the 6 rounds loaded... but the H&R magnums are easier to shoot quickly AND accurately and still offer ".38 snub power". the Longs are just target fodder but can still do in a pinch or for somebody recoil sensitive.

They will shoot pretty low as the Ruger seems to set the sights for a 100gr bullet. One reason I'm glad I got the SP101 with adj sights.

When loading the Berry's, use a firm taper crimp, do not roll crimp. Also, use a magnum primer.
