ruger m77 mk1 stock??

will a m77 mk 2 stock fit my m77mk1 rsi? i would like to start working it up into the scout like rifle i want to have, and if i could simply replace it with a frontier laminate compact stock, that would be great. if not, ill work something else out, no worries

Nope, a MKII stock WILL NOT fit a MKI. I have a sweet old MKI varmint .243 that I was looking to restock, but good luck finding a short action Ruger MKI stock anywhere. Long action MKI stocks however are plentiful from aftermarket companies.

well, mines an '06, so what companies are we looking at here? i would prefer something laminate or full synthetic. full lenght like what is on it now would be nice too

thanks again guys. i think the microfit will be it for me. a little time sanding and some polyurethane will be easy enough, and the price is very right.
