Looking at a Ruger Mark II William B. Ruger NRA Commemorative....Here's an interesting question or two....what is it worth if NIB? Is it worth more that a run-of-the-mill Mark II because it's a Commemorative or do you think the fact that it's a William B. Ruger NRA commemorative actually hurts it's value?

Thanks

I have that model as well, from what I've read, they will only be worth about $50 more than any other Mark II of the same condition. Several thousand were made, and everybody knows they're the last of the Mark IIs.

Right now all Mark IIs are highly prized, I've had people offer me more than what I paid ($299 NIB).

Last new one I saw for sale was $ 350.

I can't imagine having an NRA serial number and W.B. Ruger's signature could hurt it's value.

I picked one up last year for $250. I can't really tell if has been fired. It was sold as a used gun, and I figured for $250 I would just shoot the darn thing. In the mean time I've picked up a MK III with adjustable sights to shoot, so, I never have shot the other.

Just bought a nice used specimen for $300.00. They wanted 350.00.
My second MKII. My first is a MKII but has a 6" barrel.
The shorter barrel of this NRA model will handle a bit differently and the white grips are a bit different but I kinda like it because it is a bit different.
Shoots 22LR, cheap, cheap, cheap!
Now all I have to do is find ammo...

I bought one (very lightly) used for $250 back in 2007 right about the time the Mark III was introduced. Took off the stock engraved Ruger upper and put on a PURPLE Tactical Solutions upper as it is my daughter's pistol. She should be shooting it this weekend.

[eta] I may be confusing this gun with the 50th Anniversary gun. [/eta]
