Hey guys,

I got my eyes set on a the gun posted in the title. I'm just wanting to hear if any of you have any experience with it and if you've had any problems with it, and from what i hear they don't make the p94 new anymore, so id be buying it used so from what Ive seen $200-350 is reasonable??? (correct me if i am wrong please!)

This gun will not be for HD. its main use will be for target shooting and eventually maybe for my concealed carry when that time comes (i know its not the best choice for concealed carry, looking into the LC9 for that but that's another topic in itself). in specific im looking at the one in 2 tone, with the safety and de-cocker. also im not interested in any of the other p-series guns.

Any advice, wisdom for me on this gun will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!!!

I had a KP94DC (Stainless P94 w/ decocker) at one time. It wasn't sexy looking by any stretch of the imagination but it was rock-solid and never failed to feed, fire, or eject anything I put in it.

I would never expect to see one used in bullseye competition, but it held it's own on my 7-yd targets. What kind of target shooting did you have in mind? If you're talking about short range practice at the range it will be fine. If you are one of the rare 2" at 25 yard shooters the P94 will dissapoint you.

sorry. I used the wrong term when i said target shooting. it'll be more along the lines of plinking/ fun shooting.

also i forgot to mention that this will be my first handgun to own.

For a first handgun the P94 is great. As others have stated, they are not target guns, but they are often more accurate than some will give them credit for.

I have a P85MKII that will hold about 3-5in at 25yds with cheap ammo. Its fine for plinking, self-defense and even steel-plate competition (at least at lower levels of competition). A P94 should do about as well, but remember YMMV.

I happen to love the looks of the p94s in stainless...basically, the metal versions of the P95s. Solid guns, you won't go wrong!
