Ruger Scout availability; manufacturing and quality of new models; any unique info

It'll be interesting to see what Ruger will offer at the shot show. I hear (from a guy who knows a guy...) that a 223 Scout is in the works.

Wouldn't surprise me beings they have one in 6.5 Creedmore.

For those who prefer a bolt gun as a defensive tool (yes, there are some places where there is sound logic to it), it has great possibilities. A .223 version likely would sell, especially if it used AR or Mini-14 pattern mags.
