Ruger Scout Rifle Synthetic Stock: How flexible or firm is it, and does the stock flex and make contact with the barrel?

How does the Scout stock compare to the Ruger American original 'flimsy' or the later 'slightly-stiffened' stocks?

No. Stock is stiff in the for-end. Does not contact the barrel. Much lighter than laminate.

A couple pictures. You can get the stock to touch the barrel, but you have to press really hard. It’s a solid stock.
