I thought this crew would like to know that Ruger just completed a rare run of these revolvers. This business is very good. No tax out of state and $20 shipping. https://www.familyfirearms.com/prod...od-insert-grip-satin-stainless#product_detail
Thinking the same thing.this website looks very sus, has anybody bought anything from them?
What looks suspect about it? As I mentioned in my OP, they are a good business to deal with. As good as it gets. I have ordered from them several times.this website looks very sus, has anybody bought anything from them?
Alright… it’s just kinda 1999 Block Style website. They should fix that, get way more business and less worry. They have a good ULR address. What looks suspect about it? As I mentioned in my OP, they are a good business to deal with. As good as it gets. I have ordered from them several times.
Here's a test that you can apply to any business to help determine if they are legit:
*Phone Number: Is there a phone number prominently displayed on their home page. Red Flag if there is not.
*Address: Do they have a physical address posted? If not Red Flag. If they do have an address, what does it look like on Google street view or satellite map? Red Flag if it doesn't look like a business.
*Inventory: Do they have a lot of hard to find stuff or too good to be true pricing? Red Flag if they do.
*Business History: When you Google the business name with the words review and complaint, what do you find? Little footprint or a lot of negative reviews or BBB complaints is a red flag.
*Payment Method: Crypto, Venmo, Pay Pal friends and family only? Red Flag.
*Site Language: Do you notice language errors or irregularities? Red Flag if there are errors and oddities.
They list their address and phone number on their site. It is accessed through the contact us tab at the top of their home page.
When you google the address, you see the business.
Their prices and in stock inventory are realistic.
They have a long history of positive google ratings. No BBB complaints that I could find. They also have a huge Facebook following and an active and realistic page.
They only take standard methods of payment. No Zelle, crypto crap.
Their are no irregularities with site language. In fact they go further than any other business I have seen at making customers aware of common ordering errors and giving customers as much useful info as they can.
After going thur there webstore… I kinda LIKE IT!!!! it’s very 90’s retoWhat looks suspect about it? As I mentioned in my OP, they are a good business to deal with. As good as it gets. I have ordered from them several times.

That review is not for the Family Firearms out of Troy Alabama. As an aside giants like Midway and Buds guns rank 2.1 or lower on sitejabber. Here you decide.
Family Firearms Sales Reviews - 3.2 Stars
8 reviews for Family Firearms Sales, 3.2 stars: 'BUYER BEWARE! This store does not believe in what true customer service is. They believe that if you take up their precious time, and shop elsewhere, they will penalize you with a store policy of a flat 20% restocking fee if you attempt to return...www.sitejabber.com
Gun Deals shows them in a lot of different stores. Pick your favorite!Don't need to pick it up from that site necessarily, I see them on Gunbroker, so clearly distributors and dealers are getting them now.
I agree. I got a 4-1/4" SP101 327 Fed Mag with adjustable sights back in 2015. It is a nice pistol.As to the firearm;
No adjustable rear sight is a show stopper for me.
No thanks!
The difference in POA/POI in a .32s&wl and .327mag at 25yds is just too great!
I’m gonng to join the .32 club one day!!I am glad to see SP-101’s in .327 back in circulation! I picked up my 4.2” SP back at the beginning of 2023 and added 300 Starline cases that I scrounged up on various sites.
If sufficient reloading supplies and factory ammo gets produced to feed these newly available revolvers, new buyers will be very happy.
Here in Ca. ammo for .32 H&R or .327 FM on the shelves has been at zero for ages, so the only choice was high priced on line orders or loading my own. (Which I did using the few cases I had on hand.)
It took Starline until this September to make a run of cases, I bought 1,000 so I won’t get caught flat footed again. (They already appear to be sold out again!)

With the .32 Single Six, which started my .32 affair.

Stay safe.
You need one of those 'staple guns' we talked about. Actually, .32 ACP/7.65 is pretty cool as well.I’m gonng to join the .32 club one day!!
something modern and shoots ragged holes!
to each their own… but those Staple Gun are not real “Manly” looking. I have to look good shooting. You need one of those 'staple guns' we talked about. Actually, .32 ACP/7.65 is pretty cool as well.
Danrab, thanks for that summary. I went whole hog, trying to get some Trailboss, and nearly got sucked in on an iffy site. Normally, I'll inquire online, even here. Got a green light on Everglades as a source for jacketed/plated bullets by doing just that.
Thanks again,
Moon
