Competition-ready (long slide with lightening cuts, slide milled for a red dot, and slightly better trigger) Ruger American Pistol. This is what I am guessing although I’m rather tired of companies releasing polymer pistols that, while reliable and affordable, are nothing ground-breaking.

I hope Ruger gets into the lever or shotgun game. If nothing else, it’ll help create competition. I know Ruger has offered shotguns and lever guns, but I’m not sure if they have any current offerings; if so, they’re not significant.

Ain't no shotguns on their site so, would be a real surprise! I doubt they have all that Marlin equipment up and running like jeff-10 says

Owning some more than average Ruger stuff I receive an email to enter into the drawing to win whatever it is they are introducing. The contest started today and end on June 27 at 11:59 PM on June 27. The ten winners will be announced quickly and must ID an FFL to receive the firearm. It must be picked up by July 3 and a photo of the recipient with the prize must be received by Ruger no later than July 3. I have no idea what the prize is I did enter the drawing.

They tried twice, and failed twice, on shotguns

Im going to chime in with Marlin stuff even though it is too early.

1894s with proper twist rifling in 44 and 45 Colt.... and I guess 41, 357 and 32 H&R for those weirdos. How about 327 Mag while we are at it and 357 Maximum. Just be sure to twist them for heavy bullets.

450 Bushmaster 336 would be neat.

Oh wait. Is this a serious conversation or another Ruger Wishlist thread?

Ruger has a history of producing oddball cartridges with small cult followings. They used to make very nice .44 Magnum semi-auto and lever carbines of the own as well.

They’re doing a lot of job fairs where Remington used to make 870s (mayodan NC), so I’m thinking shotgun, but I was definitely hoping for marlin lever actions.

I’m going to argue with myself here, the age clicky-box to sign up starts at 2000, not 2003. Requiring the age of 21 makes me think handgun. They are trying hard to fill that former Remington factory though.
