how many rounds on the rifle section,and on the long steel,is it just a ping you need or drop a plate?

On the long steel they had two "flashers", which have a round steel target below a pivoting white/orange plate above. When you hit the round steel, it pivots the upper section so you can see the orange "flash". The stage required on hit on each flasher from 3 different positions.

The plate rack obviously required the plates being knocked down.

Total round count for me was about 160 .30-06 and 200ish .45 ACP. I don't remember the stage round counts. I usually take that number and double it.

On this one about 240 yards or so. They're reconfiguring the range to allow 400+ yard shots for future matches.

Some clubs don't allow them and some do. On this match you could shoot in the "other" division.

Having caught only this last part of the conversation since I posted...a Garand rechambered in FN 5.7? Heathen!!
