Hi guys!

I'm brand new to the forum, and really happy to join this community! :D

So as the title says, I have a Russian Tolarev TT-33 from 1947, which I bought in July. When I bought it, it looked basically brand new, there were no wear marks on anything; not the trigger, not the slide rails, not even on the magazines. I've been busy these past few months so I didn't have a chance to take it out to the range until this last Saturday.

I was really disappointed when after only two or three mags, I started experiencing FTE on the last shot. It's always on the last shot but it either didn't eject the spent case and just left the spent case in the chamber or it wedged itself in the ejection port, so that I had to pry it out.

I don't think I'm limp wristing it because that was the first thing that I thought I was doing wrong, but nope that's not it.

Any ideas what it might be?

Thanks! Much appreciated!

Onmilo hit the nail on the head. On any old gun, ALWAYS replace springs before shooting them, even if the gun has just been sitting. Wolff has springs for almost anything and they are cheap.
