I bought one of these and I love the thing, especially for the price.

It even has a tilt and shock sensor alarm that you can turn on/off. So when you're away from the RV, if someone trys to pry it loose or move it, the alarm starts making a racket. If nothing else, that annoying alarm ringing will draw attention.

And you can buy extra mounting plates for $15 each so you can move it from the house to the RV or car without having to unbolt it.

Sentry makes some smaller steel safes (without fire liner) that would be OK for an RV.

We sell a fire lined import that's 55 x 14 x 14. We install a ton of these into motor homes. They're light (200 pounds), and small enough to stash in tight quarters.

These are great for small things. I have one myself. However I'm looking for something suitable for storing a couple of long guns and hand guns.

Did you look over their entire web site? They have small upright safes for both long guns and pistols. I didn't know they made them until I went to the GunSafe link on their site. Check it out, they're pretty nice.

May end up getting one for myself...

Jim that is almost perfect weight depending...

The trailer is fairly small so I can't have anything super substantial. Since that appears to be a piece of furniture I can just find an area towards the centerline of the trailer and then tie it into the aluminum frame with graded bolts to make sure it stays there....

Hmmm. Ideas, ideas....
