Fella's;
My buddy has an older RWS Diana that he bought as a trainer for his kids. The kids are now adult sized, but the airgun still has the severely shortened stock that made it perfect about a dozen years ago. I've talked him into taking it out of storage & using it again, but wow did we hit a snag.
Finding a new stock on the RWS site isn't too hard; the price is. He'd pay more for a replacement stock off the RWS site than he paid for the airgun! Anybody got a source that isn't in la-la land? He'd buy a beater stock, or the whole gun if it's a junker, just to get the stock.
What amazes me is the factory original on the gun is really nothing more than a pine 2 X 4 that's been inletted. It's not even hardwood! What's up with a replacement that's the same price as a new Savage MKII?!!
