S&W 13 at Great Price?

Paid $450 for this 3' 13-3 in 2012 - not a bad price at that time.

Today I'm guessing is is worth $750 easily - but I'm NEVER selling it. And I do carry it now and then.

Magnums are fine - just stick to around 140 grain and up.

I would be more likely to believe it if the 3 on the tag were a 6.

When you click on the picture it opens in the OPs Photobucket account with the title April 1. Does anybody else title their gun pictures by the date?

The Model 13 is built on the K frame. It is not a 'big' revolver. It was cataloged as the 357 Magnum Military and Police, Heavy Barrel. No bigger than a Model 10.

$312 is just an OK price? Not around these parts.

I picked up this Model 13-2 a few years ago. You can see part of the name on the papers that came with this one. I seem to remember it was somewhere around $500. Can't be absolutely sure. But it sure as heck was not $312. This one shipped in 1979.

Gotta say, I hope all this media attention has not driven the price up.

Op in md. Gun in ga. No sale, unless op has ffl. Or ship to op's dealer. Price ok, but i like adjustable sights on big revolvers.

I'm like 243, I'd hold out for adjustable rear sights but it is a beautiful handgun.
