Its on Century Arms, and price wise its from $200-299. You gun dealer would have to call to find out the exact pricing. How much are they asking? I might try it out if it's cheap enough, I absolutely love 3" s&w revolvers...
Then don't look up Century Arms most recent batches of S&W's and Colt handguns if you want to keep your sanity. This is exactly how we know Lucifer is in this world... Only pure evil would do that to such a masterpiece of weaponry.
Since its coming from Century Arms, its priced a bit more then that. Yes, I totally agree with you it should be under $200, but its not.None of the rust in those pictures would concern my too much as far as being able to handle .357 Magnum loads, but I wouldn’t be interested in buying the gun unlesss it was priced under $200.
Well, hate to break it to you, but, Century Arms puts it around $200-299 for their pricing on something they consider in poor condition. But thank you for the advice on it. i will pass on it then.I would do a complete detail strip (including removing the barrel), thouroughly inspect, sandblast, cerakote, reassemble, and carry/shoot the snot outta that- assuming the pitting isnt severe inside the barrel and barrel extension.
That said, ya $100 would be fair to roll the dice on it.
Unknown, as it seems the most recent batch of Century Arms handguns would be high dollar collectables if they hadn't been in some high moisture container it seems. No import marks, so, must be somewhere in the states they got them. I would love to know the story too myself. Its a shame to see so many Colt Pythons, 1911's, S&W 19 Masterpieces and the like spotted with pits and rust. How did it get the water damage?
Century Arms is selling this piece for 200+, so....not anywhere near a good deal.i have a k-22 that looks like that but the internals are fine. 100 bucks from a police auction, and i would not pay a penny more.
I'd walk the other way fast.Had a question for all who have had one of these. Would you shoot a revolver that had water damage like this one? Trying to talk myself out of this, but I love the lines on the pistol. What do you think? Condition wise, its rated "poor" but is there still some life in it?View attachment 841981 View attachment 841980
They are out of their minds.Century Arms is selling this piece for 200+, so....not anywhere near a good deal.
Hehe, well, you will see how out of their minds are when you look at one of the Colt Pythons, rusty, pitted, and still thinking its going to go for over a $1000. Yah, someone's dreaming big. They are out of their minds.
I am. In fact, i am thinking of passing on anything of theirs for the time being. Too much risk for such a high price, I wonder what the barrels are like.Too much for a gun in that condition IMO. I would pass.
