Ran across some info on this gun and thinking about ordering. I have an old Bulldog that I like the idea of, just always wanted to use heavier loads. Believe this will fit the bill and allow me to use hotter loads for SD plus, now the Buff Bore SWC is an option for woods carry in a lighter gun than I usually lug.

Anyone have one of these yet? Impressions?

Like you, I'm very curious about the 396--so I checked with my LGS. He checked three different suppliers--it's not shipping from S&W yet.
