It is only about 6mo old, but misfires often. Looks like the hammer is striking light, when you look at the unfired rounds it is an extremely tiny dent in the primer. I know I can send it back in for warranty, but would rather not go through the hassle for a minor adjustment if possible. Any advice on how I can tighten this up a bit?

Have you done a "poor man's trigger job?" Is the strain screw all the way in? If not, you can experience exactly what you are seeing. Check that first, then call back for more help.

In case you don't know, the strain screw puts pressure on the hammer spring and is located on the bottom front of the grip of the frame of your revolver. If you have Hogue type grips you will have to remove them to see/access the screw. It should be tightened all the way in. It will loosen under recoil at times and that will affect the hammer spring tension.
