S&W "K" Frame, lighter mainspring avail.?

I have a Smith & Wesson Model 66 and a model 65. The stock mainsprings look nearly identical, but one is just barely thinner than the other, resulting in a much nicer and lighter trigger pull. Did S&W change the thickness somewhere along the way (the lighter one is from an older gun, the heavier one more recent)?

Any idea where I can get another, lighter, version mainspring for the Smith "K" frame? After swapping this spring back and forth between my 65 and 66, this seems to be all that's needed to make the trigger pull really outstanding. Thanks...

There are two Smith & Wesson revolver springs to consider replacing: the main spring in the grip frame, and the rebound slide spring in—believe it or not!—the rebound slide behind the trigger.

Wolff's springs are the best I've ever found. That saidâ„¢, if you replace springs, make sure you put a few hundred rounds through a gun before carrying it: some springs and/or spring combinations don't deliver 100% reliability in some guns. You've got to be sure with carry guns.
