S&w m&p 45

What are your opinions of the S&W M&P 45?

I have owned two, and recently traded my 1911 in for the second one. I like the way this weapon handles, the striker fire aspect, and the magazine capcity. It fits my hand MUCH better than the Glock21, and I understand a lot of LE agencies are actually switching to these weapons over Glock. Input?

Meh, it's a matter of hand fitment more than anything, and your preference of trigger feel. Had a mid-sized M&P .45 and just could not go the extra $50 for an Apex kit. The G21 fits my hand and was easily tuned, and accepted the SL 10mm conversion barrel. Horse a piece.

The new slim line G21 is better than the previous models, but still just a little bit too big for me. I have access to the trigger swap at no cost, so that's an easy fix for me. I think you're right though, hand fitment is key.
