Wondering how good are they and good for possible CCW.
like the idea of useing 44spl genral defense and have the option to go 44mag for bigger problems.

And the price for it has gone up at Bud's
 
i bought one awhile back and love the gun. shoots great and mild recoil with .44 special rounds. there are some good factory self defense loads out there from winchester and corbon. the best holster i found was from "simply rugged" in wasilla alaska. the pancake or tribute model.
heavy gun so get a good belt. other than that i love it.
(in previous threads it is noted that the grip screw is over tightened. mine was) as for price, ask if they still have the group buy for THR members of $550.
 
i think that gun qualifies for the $50 rebate from smith and wesson on their holiday sale as well.
