The 'pigeons' who pay the 'local shop' price, or the 'gunshow' price keep the doors open for our local FFL. So those of us who get our own CDNN or J&G catalogs reap the benefits......

just like buying a car.. no one really pays sticker unless you're a schmuck. also it seems that smaller consumer goods alwasy have a higher munaufacturers price.. they dont want to compete with their distrubitors...

also, dont forget that CDNN also has lots of PD trade-ins and factory seconds. they had a load of Weatherbys recently that had "second" in the metal on in the inside of the receiver.

Probably nothing materially wrong with it or they wouldnt sell it, but do you want to be the guy that is the test guinea ?

In the two years since I started buying handguns i have learned one hard immutable fact.......whoever is running S&W's price management division has GOT to be broadleafin it, BIG TIME.
