S&W Model 315 Night Guard

I have been thinking about getting a S&W Model 315 Night Guard for some time now. Does anyone have any experience with one, shooting and carrying? Would you recommend the gun? Does the 315 fit into a regular holster made for a 2 1/2 inch K frame?

Also, if you are in Michigan and have one you may want to trade something for, please PM me. I have serveral guns to possibly trade. Thanks.

Believe it or not the M315 NG is a real K frame, not an L frame. It should fit in any holster made for the older K frames, not only the more current holsters that are marker K/L frame.

Some one has to have some experience/opinions regarding a S&W 315 Nightguard.

I’ve been looking for reviews of the 315 too, there doesn’t seem to be much out there. American Rifleman did review the similar 386 NG in the Sept. 2009 issue though.

Hmmm....Not sure, but I have a 325NG (N Frame) and at least one of sights I was on looking for a holster did mention that their product would not fit the barrel width of the 325 Night Guard model (while other N frames where a-okay). I would touch base with the holster company before putting too much money/effort into your purchase.
