1. Stack-On RFID/Button Combo Handgun Safe. Slop in the locking mechanism allows the safe to be pried open with very little force. The applied force combined with slop in the internal latch causes the parts to disengage and the safe opens.

2. Vaultek LifePod Gun Safe. The button that allows the combination to be reprogrammed/reset is inadequately protected with the safe closed and can be accessed with a probe. In addition, the safe combination can be reprogrammed with the safe closed. These two "features" mean that the combination can be reset while the safe is closed by accessing the reprogram button from the outside.

3. ShotLok Handgun Solo Vault. An impact to the corner of the case (as from dropping it in the right orientation) disengages the locking mechanism allowing the safe to be opened using the open handle without entering the combination. Fortunately, if the safe is bolted down, this exploit can not be used. Unfortunately this is not the only weakness of the safe. A small opening left by the manufacturing process can be probed with a wire allowing the safe to be unlocked.

4. Homak Security Gun Safe. The unlocking latch can easily be accessed with the safe closed using a small piece of scrap plastic.
