I hear conflicting info about dry-firing rimfire guns.
Is it safe to dry-fire my new Ruger Mark III? There is only one line about it in the manual and that's in the middle of the disassembly-reassembly instructions so I'm not quite sure if that's part of the process or a general note that dry-firing is OK.
I would like to use dry-fire practice to improve my skills between range visits if its safe for the gun.
