A recent thread, and some similar threads, about safety and storing reloading materials made me think it's about time to review the safety film from SAAMI about fire and ammunition. It's meant primarily for firefighters, but it's good information for homeowners as well, especially those who store large amounts of ammunition and components.

Hope this helps.

Good video! I have never seen this before. The bonfire made me sick seeing all that ammo go to waste. Now we know why there's an ammo shortage. :)

I remember many, many years ago camping and tending the fire one morning when an unknown amount of .22's fell from my shirt pocket into the coals. Poped like popcorn and kicked up coals.

I don't think I would like to try it with any of my 50 BMG ammo especially the API stuff.

How coincidental, I was just browsing some of that the other night, which is what prompted my recent question about legal residential primer storage restrictions.
