Have a Saiga 308 v21 I'm looking to turn into a suppressed hog slayer.

Any concerns I should have for it cycling as normal? The gas system does not adjust of course, just wondering what effect suppressor have on AK-platform action/automating. Thanks!

I've got an saiga 308 as well. Local gunsmith said they wouldn't recommend a suppressor because you cannot find replacement parts and because the action is still very loud. Instead of a suppressor I got a lantac muzzle break and a BMD. More of a loudencer but I have no more vertical recoil. Add a phot if you don't mind I'd love to see what you got!

Trying to learn about these things; why would a suppressor create the need for replacement parts? My Saiga is really my only option for a scoped semi-auto hog reaper. The distances I'd shoot probably make the noise of the action negligible.

Increased back pressure, they seem pretty bulletproof but for me personally idk if i would risk it. Nearly impossible to find any spare parts because of sanctions/import ban.
