Hey Guys, quick question that I have been thinking about for quite some time now. Would it be legal to convert a Saiga in CT? Also if so, would I be able to chamber it in 7.62(x39) or would I have to still stay with .223? or 5.45x39? I'm sure I could comply with the assault weapons bans and 922r compliance but where does the law say "NO" to Saiga conversions, or does it? The law does say that AK type rifles will no be allowed but I talked to a gunsmith with his FFL and he explained that You can get an Ak but it must be chambered in anything but 7.62. Is this correct? If so with out a forarm conversion, for now, how cheap do you think I could build one?
Why can't we now take a look at the CT assault weapons ban, now that heller is out of the way?
