I usually use a Sierra 77gr HPBT .224 slug but ran out not too long ago and Midway was out of stock. I ended up ordering some Nosler 77gr HPBT just to give a whirl. They don't seem to be as consistent as the Sierras as I had to keep changing my seating depth to get them uniform (for the most part). BUT, using 22gr of RL15 they shoot almost as good at 100 though one of my ARs. They dropped a little after the barrel started warming up, but still pretty happy with the results. Just though I would share..

Have you given any though to just using paper targets!

Takes way too long to find the coins after you just wing them like that! :D

Why blow a hole in a silver quarter? They're actually worth something.

Haha, I just duct tape over them and draw a red circle on the outline. Nice shot by the way. Maybe I'll see if I can get some better ones if the wind is more cooperative this weekend.;)

They were only worth 25 cents when I did it.
Figured that would be the answer. These yunguns' don't know. I remember having pockets just full of Buffalo nickels. Wish I had em all now.

Why don't you people show us just how much money you really have and shoot up you car or truck. BTW I can put 10 rds into the seal on a 100 dollar bill and I still get to spend it.LOL

I may be a bit younger, but I remember spending a couple of buffalo nickels, and collecting a few silver quarters. Unfortunately, an apartment caretaker stole my can of silver coins when I was moving out. I had moved the big stuff and came back for the last of the small stuff and the can was missing. At the time I figured one of us had put it into a box or something, but it never turned up and I still recall the last place I saw it. That apartment caretaker was one of the reasons we were moving out in the first place.

I'll be 50 next year.

If they would let me drive one of my cars onto the range I would, I'm curious to see what some of these loads do.

"Jeez... I guess your cost per round is about $0.10 higher than everyone else"

I reload 45ACP, 44Mag, 44Spl, 357Mag, 38Spl, 40 S&W, 50AE, 223, 300Wby Mag, 308, 30/06, 45/70, 458 Win Mag, 458 SOCOM, and will probably start 243, 9mm, 45LC sometime in the near future so a dollar or two here and there isn't going to kill me.

I doubt it will kill me either, just never saw the sence in wastefullness. People complain about how much it costs to fill up their gas tank then throw money away. Oh well like Mr. Barum said, theirs one born every minute.

With the amount of ammunition I generally go through per month, a lot of people would consider that a waste. Am I a sucker for buying things I don't need? And I don't complain about the gas prices, I've lived in Norway..

Quick Bulletin--I don't live in Norway I only am conserned about the price where I'm pumping at that particular time, all other prices are immaterial to me.
