San Luis Obispo, CA Camp/Shoot: SOUND OFF! (Need a headcount)

Hey- It's probably a go, can't say I'm 100% sure, but...

We're having company over on Friday night, but my dad is willing to drive me over to the campsite so I can hang around and discuss tacticality with y'all. I'd stay the night (Don't worry, I've got a tent and camping gear), and then we'll do whatever in the morning- depending on the hike (how hard and all), I might opt out because I'm a lazy, out-of-shape fatass and I'd slow you guys down. Whatever

We could work out some carpool arrangement to the range, and my dad would meet us there.

I mean, if you guys don't like the thought of a minor tagging along, that's fine, but I've got everything I need(I'm so tactical) and my dad would accompany me during the actual shooting. I just like to get to know the faces of THR. You guys have zero responsibility.
 
Damn... I can't camp. I haven't "earned" it yet, as my dad put it. Dammit, that woulda been fun. I'll still go to the shoot though.

Thanks very much to everyone who let me use their ammunition and guns guns, as well as letting me check out your tactical cutlery and tools.

We should do that again sometime.

The first thing I did after we unpacked was to break out the Shooter Choice and FP10.

That poor AR was DIIIIIIIIIIIIRTY.

The M1A's turn is tomorrow.

Things that I learned this camping trip:

1) I need to buy Surefire batteries (thanks to 45R and Skizunk)
2) I need a digital SLR
3) I need to bring beer next time
4) I need to bring a heck of a lot more 7.62Nato (sorry Combat-Wizombat)
5) Average Guy's a pure savage (he owned that steak)
6) I need to turn my head next time we run into shameless hippies
7) California's THR crew pWnZ
