I am sure some of you know and have shopped at Sarcoinc from time to time. Recently they upgraded their page for that "modern" look, but when I go on it, each category for firearms comes up empty, even for frames. Has this happened to you as well? Just curious, maybe its just me.

This really fits in with the SARCO I remember. Back in the day when we had to look in Shotgun News and call them on the phone, they admitted to me once that they had no idea what all they had, where it was, and even WHAT some of it was. They're kind of like your uncle that has a junk room that he's been accumulating stuff for 50 years and he has whatever you need, he just isn't sure where. Should would be fun to go rooting around in their warehouse to see what's there...

Back in the 1980's, when I had my FFL, I visited Sarco (Steen Armament Research Company) when they were located in New Jersey. It was a disorganized mess even then. In contrast, Numrich, which I also visited at around the same time, was well organized. Numrich had a whole system for breaking down and sorting parts guns. Sarco just basically threw them into bins. When I introduced myself as an FFL, Numrich gave me the VIP tour of their facility, while Sarco just ignored me. (I don't hold that against them. They were busy.)

I stopped in there the other day for some stuff and to just look around. The store is an eclectic mess of stuff, new guns, old guns, gunparts laying around in bins and piles on the shelf. A lot of NOS that was forgotten long ago. A neat place to browse through for sure.

I had never heard of them but thanks, will add them to my bookmarks.
So, what other sites are in your bookmarks?

I check out Sarcoinc, Centerfire Systems, Impact Arms, Aim Surplus, Century Arms, BullMooseGuns, Gun Broker and J&G Sales. Usually.
