I picked up an EAA imported Sarsailmaz K2-45. It's a Turkish made clone of a Tanfoglio (which is an Italian clone of the CZ 75). All steel frame that holds 14 rounds of 45 ACP. With low mount LPA adjustable rear sight. It came with a single magazine crammed into a laughably cheap factory plasitc box that was so small the owner's manual was folded over to fit. Anybody familiar with the CZ75 controls would feel right at home with this gun. I put around 150 rounds of my 230gr lead ball reloads through it to function test. It was very accurate. Very tight groups hitting POI (after some adjustment of the adjustable sights). The finish is similar to the CZ 75 polycoat. The large white lettering in what can best be described as 'Spider-man 3 Font' on the gun is a bit distracting though. DA trigger pull is heavy, but the single action out of the box before break-in was a smooth 4lbs. It should smooth out even more with use. Fits well in my leather Sig P229 OWB holster.

I really like this gun and it's hard to beat for the the price (around $500). I was planning on getting a CZ 97, but this will tide me over until I can find a deal on one.

The Turkish CZ clones appear to be well made and are some of the best values right now IMHO. EAA would probably sell more though if they got rid of the white lettering. Enjoy your new gun.

I agree with both of your statements. The gun appears to be well made, and the lettering is stupid.

They are just under $500 from grabagun.com or If you have any "good deal" Galleryofguns.com FFLs within driving distance.

It's a great shooter, and the lettering probably stands out a little more in my crummy pictures than it does in actual real life...but it is a nuisance. Also, I've seen some pictures of this model floating around with less obnoxious lettering, so mine might be older than what's currently shipping.

it seems nice and it would be pretty simple to black out the billboard lettering on it with a sample of Duracoat, a fine brush and a steady hand..

I would have it re-done, but EVERY single time I've every decided to modify a gun in some irreversible way to make it 'better' I have always seriously regretted the decision.

Nice pistol.

The Turks really are manufacturing some damn fine handguns these days. IMO the quality is equal to or better than any of the "originals" that they decided to copy or "clone"

I own one of the "Turk" Beretta 92 clones. Advertising all over it also (thank God not in white letterring). Out of all the handguns I own (just short of a dozen) it just may very well be my favorite to shoot.

I think that you will find that your pistol is extremely solid and well built.

I was hoping Armalite would have made their AR-24 in 45acp, considering the same factory makes that as well as the EAA offerings. Ah, well, C'est domage.
