Savage 11/111 th xp

In light of the Remington recall, I really dont want to spend all that money to ship the gun back and wait some more. So, I've been looking at the Savage 11/111 th xp package deal for a steel plinker in .260. I'm aware they don't have the accustock but I was wondering if anyone had experience with these shooting about 80-100 rounds a session or so.

Good rifles, you can throw it in a $100 Boyd's stock if you want more rigidity (and you probably will). They do have a sporter barrel contour though, so it'll heat up quick.
