Savage 110 FCP-K?

I was at bass pro today and they said they could get me a Savage 110 FCP-K in 300 win for $830 is this a ok price or is it on the high side?

I was thinking it was high myself when I can get a Remmy 700 SPS for $550 new.

Sorry guys... I thought you were talking about the 10 FCP H-S or McMillan, not the
110 FCP-K...duh!

That price is high- I just checked. I would look for one around the $700 price range.

It's a little on the high side. Middle of the road is $749.

The more I think about it I'm leaning towards a Remington 700SPS Tactical in 308win with 24" barrel.

The 700 Tactical has a 20" bbl. The Savage 10FCP 308 HS Stock 24" bbl is a very nice rifle and doesn't need any upgrades like the 700 tactical will. They run about $879 and ready go out of the box.
