Savage Lightweight Varminter

I’m thinking about getting a Savage Model 25 Lightweight Varminter chambered in .22 Hornet.

I have zero experience with these bolt guns and would appreciate hearing what others with experience(s) think of these guns.

Normally, I would prefer the Ruger M77/22 but these aren’t to be had … “currently unavailable”.

I don't have any experience with the Savage Model 25 but I have always been happy with the Savage MkII and Model 93 rimfire rifles and the Savage 10/110 series centerfire rifles.
