A friend has an old Model 24S he's having an issue with so hoping I can get some info to help him. His is the side over variation and it having the release lever work it way out requiring it get tapped back in. Looking at breakdowns, I'm wondering if it could be a weak spring on the locking bolt. Those with actual experience/knowledge on these, what do you think?
