The action has had the bottom machined for a magazine so rigidity won’t be improved with a blind magazine set-up.
Action rigidity is not improved, but stock stiffness is. When the stock is stiffer between our action screws, in theory, we have less opportunity for variability of force between the stock and action - which is the whole point of bedding. A matter of bag or bipod pressure flexing the stock beneath the action to varying magnitude.
But you have to shoot pretty damned well to be able to empirically observe action or stock inlet flex influence. You DON’T have to shoot very well for the influence of poor bedding to rear its ugly head.
