I happened to be looking at where my wife was watching a J.A.G. rerun, and the Commander and Major were house clearing, (LOUSY tactics), and then the Commander fired three rounds from his Beretta M9 at the bad guy. LClear as day, when they focused back on Commander Whatsisname, the last round was a STOVEPIPE JAM! They didn't edit it, clear it, I don't think the actor even noticed. The very next shot, his left hand was in the picture over the dramatically dying bad guy, his trusty M9 in his hand with the SLIDE LOCKED BACK OVER AN EMPTY MAGAZINE, after firing three rounds, and magically clearing a jam I was told never happens in Berettas!
Normally I don't get worked up over Hollywood errors, but this was waaaaay too obvious to miss.:neener: I had to belly laugh.:D

Blanks are tough on guns. That's why they gave Sergeant York a Luger--the 1911 couldn't get through a full magazine without choking.

Saw the same thing the other day with an X-Files rerun--Skinner's 4506 had a pipestove.

I have a blank firing replica of the Beretta and it is constantly jamming unlike my real Berettas which have never experienced a jam.

However, shame on the JAG folks for not catching these errors during the editting of the show.

Many movies have jams or the gun locking open empty, but they still add gunshot noises... See it all the time...
