What's up guys...I usually am hanging out in the reloading fourm but
I thought I would post a couple pics of my new NAA Sidewinder..This little bad boy will be riding in my pocket at work and I feel pretty lucky to have the first model of a new holster made by the Kid on its way..

Nifty looking Sidewinder! I really like that swing-out cylinder design on the mini-revolver.

Thanks guys...It's one cool little .22 mag..Where I work I can not afford to have a "real" carry peice show so I just put this little beast as last resort in my pocket and literally forget about it..:)

Just don't forget to take it out when you're doing the laundry.

I love mine. I use it when I'm in a CCW pinch of limitations.
That's exactly why I bought it..To carry where you "can't " really carry..Not illegally but just do to circumstances Ya know? Here in GA we can carry pretty much everywhere..It's not my 10mm but it's better than nothing at all. Plus it's just fun to shoot!!

The only issue I ever had was when shooting @ 10-15 feet, mine keyholed awful. I went to another forum fond of those pistols and apperently it's very common with a simple fix. The crown wasnt enough, so ya take one of those knife sharpening rods (crock stick, moon stick) with the round nose, put it against the muzzle and do the old play-doh roll on the stick. It defines the crown a touch and after that, it is dead eye on. The accuracy has suprised me immensly! I will say this, mine is in 22mag, and Holy Ba-Jesus that thing is LOUD.

Nice. I have a Pug in 22 mag with the Tritium dot front sight. Let's see the pics of your holster when you get it. enjoy.

@xd45 Yeah, I heard some of them have been known to do that and the fix is simple. My lil 22 mag has been dead on. (up to a point..lol...) And yes, its LOUD for a little thing..

@litlman Will do.. If you know these little guns well then you probably have heard of the "kid". He is one of the best known guys making holsters for these. The one I have coming is the first in his new "deluxe" line for these lil guns. I wanted one that could be worn on a belt and stuffed in my pocket AND had a hammer strap.. That happened to be what he was about to release...He was very personable and made me one before they were released. Great guy!! It should be here by Friday according to USPS.. Will post pics...

Had a little surprise waiting for me when I got home from my shift tonight..Here's a couple pics of where it lives and what it eats..

Thanks!!

I will tell ya something though.. I have to aim it very low to hit where I want as that little sucker jumps in my big hands and is hard to get a grasp on..I wonder if the rubber grip would help with that? Any recommendations?

When somebody tells me the "NAA mini-revolvers are just toys, you should carry a .357 or .45" I refer them to the unfortunate and tragic shooting of Trooper Mark Coates of the Alabama State Police back in 1991 (I think 1991).

Shot placement counts, and these weapons are assuredly lethal.

Could be a winner for bar bet money.

Why yes, I do have a single-action revolver with a swing-out cylinder. And, by the way, it opens on the right hand side.

Really extra nice rig. A .22M is deadly, especially with the Critical Defense. They WILL expand and penetrate.

Who has a link to the "kid'?
