The thread on SBS doubles peeked my interest does anyone know of commercially produced guns like this?
So with the DIY route you apply for the stamp first? If so on the app do get specific on type or brand gun? They're hideously overpriced. You're far, far better off buying a shotgun as-is, and doing the work yourself. Buying one can be up to $900, plus the $200 tax. My Stoeger SBS uplander 12ga was $200ish, used, then the $200 stamp. A whole lot cheaper than $1,100, even though I had to buy some simple tools back then!
Didn't Dominion Arms make wonderful little sawed-offs? Not sure what happened to that company though.
