Gun: SCCY CPX-2
Purchased from Davidson’s on 11/23/2015
Took delivery on 12/02/2015
First day at the range: 12/6/2015

Recoil Spring Sub Assembly failed. The round retainer that holds the springs on the recoil rod broke. I found this during cleaning. 50 rounds were fired. 115 grain from Freedom Munitions and Perfecta from Walmart.

Emailed SCCY for replacement recoil spring sub assembly ( part number 01-056 ). We will see how the warranty works out.

Anyone else have problems with a brand new SCCY ??

I have a SCCY CPX-2, I have had to use the SCCY warranty, No problems, they ship the part to me and had it in hand in two days. If you have any issues and need to send in the whole gun, they will send you a return label (2nd day delivery) and have it back to you on the 5th day. (ie sent on Monday returned on Friday). SCCY will update any gun that comes back to them with the most recent updated part. At least that is my and other friends experience. My friend owned an early model, he had a small problem sent in the gun and they sent back a whole new lower that was updated, no cost no fuss and that wasn't even what it was sent in for.

Lefty.

Ejector

I just bought one in December and the ejector broke a couple of weeks ago. I live in Orlando so I just drove up to the SCCY factory in Daytona and they fixed it while I waited no questions asked, about 15 minutes. My only other issues have been feeding problems but they seem to be going away as I shoot more.

A guy I know bought one and said he had a couple fail to feed issues in the first 2 mags he ran through it. He did say something about using light loads though so who knows if it was the gun's fault or not.

Either way, I'll be buying one in a week or so. I'll take my chances for $255!:D
