well I wear a size 13 glove & have been shooting handguns over 55yrs. & have owned several NAA over the years ...too small for me when a 275# dude has got hold of me...a 6" blade in the gut will stop that mess quick...LOL ...BTW I carry a XDs .45 most of the time but if need be I use my LCP....be cool it's all good

size 13 haha. i had to look that up. xxxL i thought i had decent size hands at xL. you must have sausage fingers. ok you get a pass, the NAA is too small for you.

They'll sell spare cylinders for the Super Companion, no fitting necessary.

Your comment reminded me that I have had one of those cylinders, 4 chambers loaded with 777, tucked away. I loaded it while a friend and I were alternating shooting the NAA. My turn came around and I decided the gun was fouled enough for the day. I tucked the cylinder into its little leather bag and forgot about it. That was maybe 8-10 years ago.

After reading your post I dug it out, put some #11 caps on it, swapped cylinders, and fired. Each chamber fired without a bit of hesitation.

Sorry for the distraction...just thought it was interesting.

(No folding grip on that gun...wouldn't fit in the flap holster. ;))

My experience with the two times I've had to avail myself of NAA's customer service and gunsmithing is that they make it so painless that, if it's an option, I'd go ahead and take it.

I sent my .22 short model back due to failure to ignite certain brands of ammo. I sent it with no grips. It was returned NC with new rosewood grips and a complete makeover. Fantastic service!

I recently purchased a .22 LR Black Widow which my wife promptly claimed ... LOL. I replaced it with a Black Widow in .22/.22Mag. Our first trip to the range we shot several rounds through each gun with great results. I went to change out my magnum cylinder and remembered I had left it at home. I dropped her LR cylinder in my gun and it locked up and indexed like a Swiss watch. I was getting 2-3 inch groups at 15 yards with the little gun. The serial numbers on our respective guns were only a couple of hundred numbers off??? Did that make a difference? I don't know? The cylinders interchanged perfectly. Whether we got lucky or not is a question I can't answer. The quality and precision manufacture of these guns is top of the line. If you bought another cylinder, it's not hard to check and see if it is working like it should in the gun before ever firing it.

Sending it back to the factory is very important when buying a replacement (or 2nd cylinder)

Or, sell the one you've got. Then buy one that already has both cylinders.
Could be cheaper, in the long run?

That's what I'd do, at least look into the cost.
It wouldn't hurt.

I've got seven NAA's now, . . . so far.

Only one of them is a convertible. That .22lr cylinder indexes perfectly in my four other magnum revolvers.

I checked every chamber on each one using a wood dowel that fit the bore snugly. If the timing were off, then the dowel would have hit the edge of the chamber before passing through.

You shouldn't try this if you're not comfortable with it, but it worked for me.

Now I hasten to say I have a NAA Pug .22 magnum but....

The little NAA guns are real good for your opponent to have. You, on the other hand, I hope you have something much better.

I use my Pug for snakes with birdshot and that is it.
