I want to hear some recomendations for scopes for a Marlin 60. The 60 has the thinner width groove cut, so I am not sure how many manufactures make scope for the model.

I assume any walmart scope will do, but I want to hear some quality recomendations also.

Thanks in advance for helping me learn ....

I just replaced my Simmons 3-9X Deerfield with a Nikon Pro Staff 4X32 Rimfire Classic. I picked it up at Cabelas for $99.

The Nikon 4X is designed to be a rimfire scope. It came with the propper rings for a rimfire and is an outstanding riflescope for the money. The parallax is set at 50yards. A limited lifetime warranty also make it worth every cent.
Currently I can manage 1.5 inch 5 shot groups off a sand bag/bench @ 50 yards with my Model 60.
HTH and best of luck,

It's just a standard 3/8" rimfire rail which is considerably more narrow than a Weaver.

I got a red dot for my dad a while back. It had a regular .22 rimfire mount and fit his Marlin 60 just fine.

I have a 10 year old Bushnell Sportview 4x that is meant for shotguns on mine.
It has been a plasure on the 60 and the duplex is perfect for 100 yard holdover with a 25 yard zero.
