In that price range...the Leupold Mark 2 6-18x40mm Tactical scope with T1 turrets...I have one and its great in all aspects.
It has a mil-dot reticle (calibrated for 18x) and I have no trouble hitting or seeing the targets at 600 yards (and farther).
If 600 yards is as far as you're going to shoot it...you may or may not need a canted base...as a matter of fact, if your scope has at least 56 MOA of adjustment, you could almost get to 900 yards with the scope mounted flat. But there are a few variables involved, it will depend on how much of that 56 MOA you use to "zero" your scope...if it comes out in the middle, like its supposed to (most don't...and its the rifles fault, not the scope)...you would have 28 MOA up and down...with my 308 loaded with 168 grain bullets at 2,635 fps it takes 28.9 MOA to get to 900 yards. (zeroed at 200 yards)
But...as I said...most don't come out in the middle because the actions on most all factory rifles are just not that "true"...sad fact. Add to that the fact that the "affordable" (cheap) mounts are even more screwed up than the rifles and you can end up waaay off...for example, my new Remington SPS Tactical with the Leupold Mark 2 mounted on 20+ year old Weaver (WalMart) mounts zeroed exactly one full turn "up" from the "center" (15 MOA canted...in the wrong direction)...I am going to get a 15 or 20 MOA mount for it soon, I just have not made up my mind which I want on it yet.
I know, I know...a $600+ scope mounted in $6 mounts is asking for trouble...but they were all I had laying around and I wanted to shoot my new rifle...
The best advice I can give you is to get a good scope with at least 56 MOA of adjustment...I recommend the Leupold I mentioned or a VX III over the Bushnell simply because I know they work....the clicks are true and they are the same place every time and the glass is great. Now I'm not bashing Bushnell... they are good scopes, but for the $$$ the OP will spend on the 4200...he can get a better one.
Mount that on a 15 MOA rail or 2 piece mount (Leupold Mark 4 bases come in 15 MOA and don't cost an arm and a leg) and shoot it till the barrel falls off.
BTW...the Leupold Mark 2 6-18x40mm Tactical scope is advertised to have 56 MOA of adjustment...but mine actually has 75 MOA...15 MOA per revolution x 5 revolutions = 75 MOA...tried and true. $619 from Cabelas, Midway, OpticsPlanet, etc.
AND...according to a reliable source (A product review on SniperCentral)...the Bushnell scopes advertise 50 MOA but the one tested in the review only had 44 MOA....see for yourself...

Why they even bothered with a 30mm tube on that scope is beyond me...other than a selling point to "those that don't know any better"...it serves no purpose. Any scope with a 30mm tube should have AT LEAST 60 MOA of adjustment.
One more thing...I would NEVER think about getting a magnification higher than 24x...18x is PLENTY and you can get by just fine with 10x... Also, 40 - 44mm is enough objective...bigger ain't always better.
