I've been looking around at some options for no-gunsmithing scope mounts for my mil-surp rifles. I have a Carl Gustaf Swedish Mauser (6.5x55mm), and a Turkish copy of the M98 Mauser (8x57JS). So far, as far as I can tell, the best deal seems to be from http://www.scopemounts.com/insta.htm
Do any of you know much about the mounts from these guys, and whether they are worth buying from? If you have experience with them, or other manufacturers I'd like to hear the pros and cons. If I get no responses the site above is probably who I'll go with.
I'm not looking for advice on the optics. That's been covered in a different thread already.
I'm pretty committed to the "no-gunsmithing" type of mount as I refuse to premenantly alter either rifle given their historical significance and the value given to un-altered vintage battle weapons. However I would like to use these guns for more than just paper-punching, and I feel that I owe any deer/elk I shoot with these guns the best possible shot placement for a quick, humane kill, and that means a scope.
