Scope Rings (and height) for a Sako A7 30-06

Hi,

I am getting a Sako A7 in 30-06. Need some advise on the right scope rings. I have searched the forums and narrowed it to
1. Burris Zee Signature (wuth plastic self-aligning insert)
2. Warnes fixed rings (Maxima?)

I am leaning towards the Burris as I do not have to do any lapping. Also the warnes seems to be tough to lap as you have take it off after lapping to put in the scope.

Would appreciate your sharing your advice/experience.

Also planning on a 4-16x40mm scope. What ring height would be best?

I recently bought a SAKO Bavarian (85) and I found the best rings are the OPTILOCK brand. I believe they are made especially for SAKO. They are expensive but they are a great piece of engineering. Check them out and if they are suitable you will find them well worth the money.
