I found the pistol in a Gander Mountain store in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The price was very good. The store label said "P-8". My guess is that nobody in the store really knew what it was. The same pistol wouldn't have lasted a day on the shelf in the Denver area.

Looks like it's in great condition. I've got a P7M8 now but wouldn't mind adding one of those to go with it. Don't see many P7 series model 'round here. Not sure if they don't stay on the shelves or just never make it to them. I can count on my hands how many I've seen in last few years. You did good.

Just spend your vacation in Germany... I recently saw numerous P7M8 police trade-ins in good shape for 398,- € each...

... and if you took three of them you'd only pay 1000,- € No kidding...

The P7s are supposed to be fantastic. I wish a range or a friendly fellow shooter that lived near me had a P7. I gotta try one someday.
