No, the deputy coroner was quoted in the story as saying it was sent to GRAND jury because of conflicting testimony.

On the face of the report, it appears that Mr. Larson did the world a favor.

I'd bet good money that he was cranked-out at the time of the shooting.

You're right, Tallpine. It's more fun to speculate on hypothetical situations than real ones.

I guess it's a matter of one person's word versus another. The dead guy's felony warrants aren't proof that he would have killed Larson. All the witnesses to the shooting are acquaintances of the one who did the shooting. Were the decision mine to make, I would have investigated for that reason alone.

If it happened the way it the newspaper says, then it was justified.

Good article you posted, though, precisely because it wasn't "cut and dried." Then again, few choices in life are.
 
What was the part about taking the sticks (which he had maybe in the back of his waistband?) and putting him under a couch?
